S.V.P.

I wish I was as cool as an iced coffee,
I wish I were a frozen coke.
Instead I have arms 10cm too long for jackets,
And a clumsy demeanor.

I WISH I HAD EXPONENTIAL MONEY TO BUY RECORDS ON A WHIM..

THIS ONE IS PRONOUNCED LIKE KARATE..I READ THE BACK

Today was really cold all of a sudden and I wanted to conjure up more layers of clothing to wear but I couldn't.

J'AI RETARD

So I wish I had a golden mane like J.R.
He can be my muse.

I had that song 'To Love Somebody' stuck in my head on the walk home and luckily had a version by Nina Simone on my iPod. So I sang along alright. Here is some information:
Oh man so the song was written by none other than my other hair hero BARRY GIBB along with brother CREEPY Robin as a soul song for Otis Redding to sing. Unfortunately O.R. died in a plane crash before he could embark on the experience. Huh, crazy? I did not know that. Its a great song.

ALL THOSE PARISIENS LOOKING FRENCH,
LOOKING LIKE RATS GNAWING ON BREAD.

C'EST MARCHE A DIMANCHE

Hello world.
Today is an excellent day because it is my first full day off working in the last twenty. I have a lot of things I would like to do including: go to the market to buy fruit & vegies, get a navigo card so I can use the free bikes to ride to work, prendre un cafe quelqueplace mignon, catch the metro to Porte Clignancourt to look at the huge flea market and buy some cheap items, make a delicious dinner and finish reading my overdue library book. I think that's it.
So my life has been filled with lots of intern moments especially in the past intense week which saw me working until 11pm or midnight most evenings! Everytime something demeaning or stupid happens to me it makes me want to produce a tv show episode based on lame moments of my life. Some intern moments include having to sweep glass off the road at 11pm or spending 6 straight hours gluing swarovski crystals that are worth almost as much as a month's rent. Also why not pass a nice morning on St-Denis Boulevard with 900 euros in your pocket, to buy the aforementioned crystals?
So our parade was on Friday night and it was a whirlwind. I dressed a model called Pinkie. Someone saw John Galliano backstage. Lots of cameras with huge flash attachments and I got to see models in their 'zone' posing for the camera and then snapping back to reality. Pretty crazy funny.
Paris is beautiful but I wish I had more time to look around! I would really like to go to this 60s record shop just down the road but it is only open Monday - Saturday and only until 7.30pm. It is so ridiculous that my working hours do not allow me to do this!! But .,..I guess thats LIFE.

This cheered me up when I was walking home last night.

I think you'll find its actually only grated cheese or something...

OUI

Jay Reatard playing in Paris, March 10th!

PASSEZ LE PINARD

Donc, its Sunday and I just worked 10 hours. Today I got to glue diamantes onto foam dog heads though. It was kind of fun. We are using these foam animal body forms that are used for taxidermy animals to give them flexible shape. C'est cool. They will become mega accessories in the parade on this Friday March 6th. I have glue on my jeans.
Listening to Diana Ross & The Supremes is both a good way to relax and to psych yourself up. Feel good times.
Also today at work, one of my colleagues said we could become friends. It was a nice moment. So we are going to teach each other different languages. She will exchange French for my English skills. Fluency fascination.
Did I mention that at the moment I am remembering five different 4-5 digit codes for various aspects of my life simultaneously? That's quite a feat! I could write them down here to prove it, but like, 3 are my PIN numbers!! HA.
WHAT DO HOMELESS PEOPLE DO DURING THE DAY? DON'T THEY GET HELLS BORED?

TREES

I've been thinking about some things I would like to achieve.

THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE
1) Today I started thinking a lot about silver and things involved with making objects out of it. Maybe there is some sort of silversmithing slash jewellery course I can study over the summer? This is something I would like to do. Also perhaps I should get an 2) ABN although why am I even thinking about that when I am overseas and not even doing things in Australia? So I should really only think about that in some months time. Also I have been thinking about what my 3) ultimate dream band will sound like. So it will be a supreme duo of male and female vocals musical feats. Building bridges and digging ditches. Everything from Beat Happening to The Besnard Lakes. Lots of harmonies and lo fi moments. LAME. I would also like to partake in a 4) revival of making zines, so I will make a, no doubt, Parisien themed one in the next month. I should set deadlines for these sort of things. How about March 24? Thats a good one. Basically just 5) 'Things I Want To Do'.

A tout a l'heure!
